Main activities:AARI - the Russian leader in the field of complex studying, estimation and forecasting of surrounding environment conditions in Arctic regions and Antarctic. Fundamental and applied researches in the field of hydrometeorology, oceanography, climatology, geophysics, water resources, and preservations of the environment are directed to create the methods of the diagnosis and the environment conditions forecast, to develop technologies of environment monitoring and implement the analysis of climatic changes and ecological systems conditions, hydrometeorological maintenance of economic activities in polar regions. |
