Main activities:

AMT Research and Manufacturing Company had been founded in the August 1991 upon the base of ELECTRONMASH Research and Manufacturing Company, Leningrad, as specialized enterprise for designing and production of automation facilities and electric equipment for various type vessels.

Now, AMT Research and Manufacturing Company is multiply-directed and mainly involved in individually and exclusively ordered supplies of automation facilities and electric equipment for shipbuilding and ports, as well as for small-scale power engineering, oil/gas-extracting and oil-refining complexes and food industry.

Production of the company is made with components produced by the world leaders such as SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC (France) and ENDRESS + HAUSER (Germany), as well as by a number of Russian producers, and with own-design components. AMT Research and Manufacturing Company were certified by Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and have other necessary certificates and licenses.

The company possesses active Quality Management System complying with requirements of the international standard of ISO 9001:2000 series (design, development, production, installation and servicing).

Products:

1. Automation for vessels under construction and upgrade, various type (such as transports, catchers, pleasure yachts and special-purpose vessels) including automation degree of A3, A2 and A1 signs within class notation of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

Automation facilities:
- distributed integrated automated procedure control systems (APCS) of vessels and their local subsystems;
- automated remote control systems for main engines (ARCS ME);
- engine telegraphs combined with ARCS ME setters with "electric shaft" function;
- various purpose control dashboards, including ship steering ones;
- ARCS for diesel generators;
- power plant control systems;
- control systems for auxiliary gears and systems;
- central monitoring and alarm/warning systems for marine propulsion plants;
- cargo handling control systems for oil tankers;
- stability control systems.

2. Automation for port facilities:
- automated control systems for granular cargoes and liquids transshipment procedures in port facilities;

3. Automation for multi-unit power-generating facilities purposed for oil/gas extraction and transportation:
APCS for multi-unit container and stationary power plants:
a) for isolated diesel power plants, 1 to 12;
b) for isolated gas engine power plant, 1 to 8;
c) for isolated diesel and gas engine power plants variously combined.

4. Electric equipment:
а) of marine or general industrial type:
- main and emergency switchboards;
- auxiliary (power and lighting) switchboards;
- magnetic starters;
- induction motor smooth start-up systems;
-induction motor to 630kW smooth start-up, braking and rpm variation systems;
b) for multi-unit power-generating facilities purposed for oil/gas extraction and transportation:
- complete transformer substations up to 3.2MW;
- enclosed switch-gears, 6-10kV;
- remote control dashboards;
- power plant control dashboards.

- designing APCS of vessels, granular cargoes and liquids transshipment in port facilities, multi-unit container and stationary power plants and electric equipment;
- surveying objects (if necessary);
- development of Task Specification and its agreeing with Customer; justification of proposed technical solutions;
- development of design, production and operational documentation;

- transshipment facility at birth No.18 of Murmansk marine fishery port;
- modular multi-unit ЭБМ-19.2/6.3К power plant of 19.2MW totally, including 12 isolated diesel power plants for Progorodniy village at Sakhalin island;
- modular multi-unit power plant of 1.345MW totally, including 3 gas engine and one diesel (emergency) power plants for Yetipurovsky gas field;
- modular multi-unit ЭБМ-12.3/6.3К power plant including 8 gas engine power plants each of 1.54MW for Kirsko-Kottinsky field.
