|  | Main activities:The institute is a leading enterprise in Russia in the design of roads and road structures. Over hundred thousand kilometers roads and 100 kilometers large bridges have been built according to institute’s design drawings during more than sixty years of work.
On the basis of the up-to-date design computerized systems the institute is carrying out works as follows:
– working-out of the construction feasibility studies;
– carrying-out of complete designs for highways, by-pass roads, traffic interchanges, roads in mountains and resort areas;
– working-out of bridge design, roads for vehicle, tire and track testing;
– solving environment problems and amelioration of natural conditions in highway impact zones;
– consulting and technical assistance in road and bridge design abroad.
