Wilhelmsen Ships Service wins Alcatel-Lucent contract
Oct. 28, 2009 - Wilhelmsen Ships Service Saudi Arabia has been awarded a three year warehousing and logistics contract in Dammam by Alcatel Lucent Technologies.
The world's leading maritime service network bid against other major international logistics service providers to win the contract. "We are a customer orientated organization and we know that Wilhelmsen Ships Service will meet our quality standards in service delivery" comments Mr Zulfiquar Ahmed, Logistics Operations Manager for Alcatel-Lucent.
The contract is expected to further the ongoing development of the business relationship between Wilhelmsen Ships Services and Alcatel-Lucent across the Gulf region.

The Saudi Arabian market is core to the development of business in the Middle East for Wilhelmsen Ships Service. The company is already involved in a number of major infrastructure projects there.
