 New Finland office for Wilhelmsen Ships ServiceNov. 18, 2009 - The world's leading maritime service network Wilhelmsen Ships Service has moved its Finland offices to new premises. For the first time in the company's twenty year history in Finland, Wilhelmsen Ships Service now has an office and a warehouse under the same roof, making operations much more flexible. The new warehouse and office are located in Espoo, with good highway connections to Helsinki.
The Finnish operation offers a range of the company's products and services, including Unitor marine products and technical services within Finland, and the full range of services available to Finnish customers globally, which additionally include ships agency services and maritime logistics.
The move was celebrated with an ‘open house' event for some twenty Finnish customers on 4th November, who were able to view products including the company's Plasma Cutter and Cargo Hold Cleaning Kit in action. A number of presentations were made including one on the all-important R-22 refrigerant Phase-Out and the solution offered by the company.
