 Wilhelmsen Ships Service completes contract for DB SchenkerJuly 19, 2010 - Wilhelmsen Ships Service in Bahrain (trading as Almoayed Wilhelmsen Ltd), has just completed a significant contract through DB Schenker (DBS) Singapore special projects, for the collection ex-works, yard handling, container packing and shipment of 40 foot open top and flat rack containers including out of gauge shipments from Bahrain to sites Located in SE Asia.
This project, which involved shipping cargoes of various dimensions in containers to several destinations, plus airfreight shipments, was spread out over a period of 12 months.
This is the first project of its kind handled by the Wilhelmsen Ships Service team in Bahrain. The project as a whole was hailed as a success by DBS Singapore, which was largely due to the commitment and dedication shown by the staff involved. DB Schenker recognised the success by presenting Wilhelmsen Ships Service with a handsome crystal award.
