Argentina Presentation showcases Wilhelmsen Ships Service’s focus on customer serviceAug. 3, 2010 - Wilhelmsen Ships Service recently conducted a course for naval engineers and chief officers in Argentina on boiler water treatment. This highlights the company's increasing focus on education and training in its range of products and processes.
The course, which was presented to a select audience of maritime specialists, took place at the Centre for Naval Engineers and Chief Officers in Buenos Aires, and addressed boilers and cooling water chemical treatments.
The course was an example of Wilhelmsen Ships Service's sharing of its expertise in technical issues in the maritime field in cooperation with customers' technical departments and marine engineering schools in South America. Courses of this type underpin the awareness and understanding of the company's products and services by supporting the end-users on board.
Similar courses and presentations have been given over the past year in Brazil, Chile and Argentina, most of them dedicated to a customer's crew members, technical staff and marine engineer schools regarding chemical treatments and safety.
