Invitation to the Wärtsilä Press Conferences at SMM exhibition in Hamburg on 7 September 2010

We have the pleasure of inviting you to TWO press conferences to be held on 7 September at the SMM exhibition in Hamburg. The first press conference starts at 11:00 and the second starts at 15:00. Both press conferences will take place at the Wärtsilä stand, upper floor in Hall 4, stand number 223.

Wärtsilä will announce the introduction of significant new advances in the market, each of which strongly supports our commitment to providing environmentally and economically sound integrated solutions for the marine industry.

Press conference starting 11:00:
Wärtsilä will launch the first communication and control centre that integrates the entire vessel's systems into one interface. Presentations will be given by Mr Jaakko Eskola, Group Vice President, Wärtsilä Ship Power and Mr Aaron Bresnahan, Vice President, Special Vessels, Wärtsilä Ship Power.

Press conference starting 15:00:
Launch of the new Wärtsilä Ballast Water Treatment solution. The press conference will be hosted by Mr Vesa Marttinen, Director, Environmental Services, Wärtsilä.
