 Hyundai Heavy Greets New Year with the Delivery of 319,000DWT VLOOHyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HHI), the world’s biggest shipbuilder, hailed the New Year by delivering a 319,000DWT VLOO (Very Large Ore Oiler) to a Taiwanese shipping line, TMT on January 3.
Starting with the ship featuring 340m in length, 60m in width, and 31m in depth with service speed of 15.8 knots, Hyundai Heavy plans to deliver 96 ships this year.
To enhance its status as the world,s No.1 shipbuilder, Hyundai Heavy continues to strengthen competitive edge by developing eco-friendly and fuel-efficient ships based on its high efficient shipbuilding system such as PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Management).
