New Customer Services Manager for Wilhelmsen Ships Service SE Asia ensures international customer focus
April 26, 2011 - Wilhelmsen Ships Service has appointed Henry Ng as Customer Services Manager for SE Asia. Henry, who will be based at the company's Singapore office was previously Sales Manager for Wilhelmsen Ships Service in Singapore.
"The appointment of Henry Ng will further enhance the company's international level of quality customer service," comments Niall Denholm, Area Director SE Asia for Wilhelmsen Ships Service. "Wilhelmsen Ships Service puts a lot of emphasis on the importance of ensuring we are true to our values as a completely international organisation. We need people on the ground in our customers' time zone who can address the customers needs.
"Henry's knowledge of our customer base and breadth of products and services brings a new dimension into our Customer Services Team," says Denholm.
SE Asia is a significant contributor to Wilhelmsen Ships Service. The maritime cluster in Singapore is growing and with this comes increasing demands for service and product orders.
Henry's background in sales and latterly as Sales Manager ideally complements the Customer Service Manager's role ahead of him. He will be responsible for 34 staff, a sizable part of the company's Singapore resources. His ability and experience based on customer dialogue and negotiation ideally complements the CS department's service objectives to the customer.
Wilhelmsen Ships Service supplies regulatory products and services, Unitor marine products, Nalfleet marine chemicals, maritime logistics and ships agency.
