Zeppelin Power Systems expand activities in Russia
Presence at ship and offshore trade fair NEVA reflects redirection
Zeppelin Power Systems, the leading system provider in the sectors of propulsion and energy, is going to bundle its activities into a separate company in Moscow. The provider for ship and offshore solutions will be presented at the NEVA 2011 with expanded exhibition space in Hall 7, Stand 738
Hamburg, August 2011 - Zeppelin Power Systems will be exhibiting at this year's NEVA in St. Petersburg from September 20 - 23. The primary focus in Hall 7, Stand 738 will be system solutions for the sectors "Energy Supply Offshore" and "Re-motorisation for Ships".
Meanwhile the system provider is represented nationwide in Russia, on the basis of Cat and MaK engines, with 90 co-workers at eight locations. This year's NEVA is the starting point for an even closer cooperation between the German and Russian locations: "We want to continue moving forward with the positive development of our business in Russia. The next logical step consists of making our competence more visible", explains Volker Poßoegel, CEO of Zeppelin Power Systems. Concrete planning is already going on to intensify our presence in Russia. Thus a separate company will open for business in the coming year, with head offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg, to bundle country activities and to exploit synergies.
Trade fair visitors can inform themselves all about services in the ship and offshore sectors: Engines and systems for passenger, working and cargo ships as well as for yachts in seagoing, coastal and inland waters.
Falling back on many years of experience with BHKWs, the company will present its competence in international offshore projects and also the uninterruptible power supply in connection of wind parks.
Another topic of focus is system expertise in re-motorisation; various projects will be implemented with Russian clients in the coming year. Zeppelin Power Systems offers clients detailed consultation and a package solution that cuts the changeover time in half, so that your ship is soon in operation again. In addition, the exact determination of components to be exchanged or to remain in use improves cost efficiency. And by means of a detailed before and after comparison, the experts at the fair explain the advantages of propulsion optimisation: Easier operation and maintenance as well as improved clarity.
