Scania engines of the new generation E-2011 will be supplied for the rescue boat
SPB Marine LLC has signed a contract for supply of the engines Scania DI 16 070M on ships of the project 23040.
The engines will be installed on the rescue boat intended for diving works at depths up to 60 up to Sea State Code 3, search, observation and inspection works.
The construction is carried out by ZNT-Yard (Russia). 18 vessels have been already built with Scania's previous generation –96 engines. The current engines are supplied for 19th and 20th vessels of the project.
A new generation of marine engines – "≈2011" has several improvements, and one of them is the extended service interval from 400 to 500 hours.
